Debut at the Grand Hall of the Konzerthaus Berlin
Tuesday night marked my debut in the Grand Hall of the Konzerthaus Berlin – an unforgettable and deeply moving moment, filled with gratitude.
Performing the music of Lili Boulanger, a composer far ahead of her time, was profoundly inspiring. Her work touched me deeply and opened a truly special musical space.
The evening also marked a premiere, with the psalm performed for the first time in a newly conceived reduced version by Paul Leonard Schaeffer, soon to be published by Schott Music—an exceptional orchestration, fully capturing the richness and depth of the original.
It was a true privilege to perform alongside wonderful colleagues with the outstanding Berliner Konzert Chor and the superb Berliner Konzertorchester, whose musical depth, color and commitment made this evening truly exceptional, under the inspiring direction of Jan Olberg.
I am especially grateful for the continued support – and for the presence of so many of my students and beloved ones, who made this moment even more meaningful.
Cheers,
Ricarda
